Into the wild lodge

The river valley where we are located were already settled by ancient Sámi reindeer herders. Our log huts are built with care and ecological as well as social responsibility.

Into The Wild Lodge is a personalized and tailored experimental traveller’s retreat. With only six persons staying at any one time you experience the immersion into nature in the best possible way.

In the main cabin we have comfortable beds for six persons in two bedrooms. Beds have firm base mattress and wool-filled futon top mattress. Covers and pillows are dove-filled (if you are allergic to feathers, we have alternatives) and bed linen is high quality linen.

Wellness and tranquility are our top priority. Days in the wilderness are topped off with a relaxing bath in a traditional sauna and cooling off in the sauna cabin.

Meals are prepared using local ingredients and other curiosities in the main cabin. As hosts we like to share it with you but your privacy is also honored should you wish to dine with your party only.

Evenings are for story telling and enjoying the company in a barbecue hut. Some dishes are prepared on the fire.

We honor the nature by following ecological principles in our operations. Wind and sun power covers our needs for electricity. Mountain spring water is carried from a creek nearby.
